WPA and ICEA Chinese 8ball Agreement September 2017
On September 7th, 2017, Mr. Ian Anderson, President of the World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA) and Mr. Qiao Bing, President of the International Chinese 8-Ball Association (ICEA) and JOY Billiards Group, signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Qinhuangdao, China.
WPA authorizes ICEA as the global governing body of Chinese 8-ball and its derivative disciplines. ICEA, founded in London in 2012 by JOY Billiards Group, bears the mission of promoting Chinese 8-ball.
The current president is Qiao Bing, and the honorary president is Stephen Hendry. ICEA has 15 member countries including the US, the UK, France, South Africa and Argentina.
